As a Program Manager in Outreach and Continuing Education, Shanna oversees operations for numerous Professional Development Programs as well as serves as an admissions advisor for Western’s Professional MBA Program in Everett, WA. In this role she enjoys helping non-traditional students achieve their lifelong educational pursuits.
Before joining Western in 2017, Shanna held positions at several universities including Manager of Clinical Curriculum at the University of Utah Medical School and Research Analyst for an Office of Naval Research funded STEM initiative at Southern Methodist University. While Shanna’s most recent professional experience is in higher education, her career started in the financial industry where she spent almost a decade at Goldman Sachs in the Private Wealth Management Division.
Shanna holds a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University and an advanced degree from Westminster College, wherein her research focused on the unique challenges working parents, particularly women, face in the labor-force.
Keith Kelley is a native of Hampton, Virginia; he moved to Bellingham in 2011 while he was in the military. Keith spent six years serving his country in the United States Navy Reserve. During that time, he received his bachelor's degree in Business Management from Western Washington University.
After graduation, Keith worked in the private sector before landing a job at Western. Keith has served in various roles at the university, managing a publishing company and the conference services unit. As the Manager of Professional and Continuing Education and Special Projects, Keith is excited to help those who want to continue their education with Western.
