Policies

Western's Professional and Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel programs or classes with low enrollment. If a program is canceled, all fees will be refunded. 

Credit courses/programs

PCE credit courses/programs follow the same withdrawal and refund deadlines as other Bellingham campus courses. Important dates and deadlines are listed on the Registrar’s Office website. 

Non-credit courses/programs

PCE non-credit courses/programs participants are eligible for a refund less a cancellation fee no later than two (2) weeks prior to the course or program start date. Refer to individual program registration information for cancellation fee amounts. Withdrawal and Refund requests must be made in writing by emailing pce@wwu.edu. 

Third party online courses

No refunds will be granted for online personal enrichment and professional development courses (clock hours and continuing education units) provided in cooperation with partnering organizations, institutions or companies (Ed2Go, Ziplines, etc.).
